The Bodega
The Bodega Series, presented by Lauer Realty Group and Park Bank, is returning to Madison’s Historic Breese Stevens Field for its tenth birthday this summer.
The nighttime, local artisan market will feature four dates during the 2026 season: May 14th, June 25th, July 24th, and August 20th.
The Bodega remains true to its roots, created with Wisconsin-based, small businesses in mind, but has expanded into a celebration that market goers and vendors partake in throughout the course of the summer. The Bodega at Breese Stevens Field will once again welcome over 90+ local artisans and food vendors from Madison and surrounding areas in our beloved state of Wisconsin. Products vary from an array of crafts, handcrafted jewelry, curated boutiques, candles, soaps, unique artwork, locally sourced honeys and spices, sweet treats, savory eats, and more! Everything from the crafts to the sweet treats and fantastic eats is something you will not want to miss out on this year!!
In addition to the incredible local businesses, Bodega attendees can expect games and activities, various entertainment, live music, random giveaways, and plenty of field space to soak up the beautiful summer evenings in Downtown Madison. This summer's Bodega season will also feature an expanded kids zone featuring games and activities from Verona Bounce, Curious Crafter, The Sensory Zone and more!! Also, our friends at Daydream Design Co. will be making sure the Bodega shines bright in downtown Madison with their custom Bodega LED lights!!
In 2026, the Bodega will feature many unique themes and corresponding activities for folks of all ages. Beginning with the first date in our 2026 Bodega series, May 14th will be focused on giving back to the community featuring live music from Cassandra Kilgore and a giveaway by our friends at Tricky Foods and Wollersheim while also celebrating the Tenney-Lapham Neighborhood Association as they head into their 50th year anniversary.
On June 25th, the focus turns to the Summer of Soccer presented by Michelob Ultra with an on-field U.S. Soccer Watch Party paired with the Bodega. Our friends at Bonsai Cards are also doing a card pack giveaway for the first 50 people through the gates! Did we mention we will also be featuring Live Music from Adam Howarth? Who knows, with the Forward Madison and Rally Madison season in full swing, you may even spot a couple of players and a wild flamingo named Strut!
July 24th we just want to enjoy the summer with a special appearance by Kona Ice, a myriad of games and activities and some upbeat funk music by Corey Moody that will be sure to get your feet moving to the beat.
August 20th we give back to you as the summer winds down with a giveaway of some ice cream from our friends down the street from stellies ice cream! Make sure you come out to the Bodega this summer. We want you to be a part of the 10th anniversary of this community event and the overall 100th year anniversary of Breese Stevens Field!!
Beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available to sip while perusing the array of vendors. What began as a way to engage local vendors and crafters in a sustainable community event has blossomed into a cornerstone of Summer in Madison; a place where all are welcome to enjoy the history, culture and atmosphere at Madison’s premier outdoor venue, The Historic Breese Stevens Field.
The Bodega is a free admission event that serves the community as a platform for small local businesses to reach shoppers in a fun, relaxing, entertaining, and safe environment. Gates for each Bodega will open at 5:00 PM and run until 9:00 PM. Attendees are encouraged to walk, bike, or utilize the local parking garages available within mere blocks from the facility. Make sure not to forget your reusable bags and a collapsible wagon bag for all your sought after goods!

It's official. An international exhibition is coming to Breese Stevens Field.
Madison meets Juárez. August 26.
Forward Madison FC is thrilled to announce that the Club will welcome FC Juárez U21, the under-21 men’s side of Liga MX club FC Juárez, to Breese Stevens Field on Wednesday, August 26, at 7 p.m. CT for a highly anticipated international friendly. The match, which will take place during the Flamingos’ regular USL League One season, offers a unique opportunity for fans to experience international competition in Madison.
FC Juárez U21 delivered a strong 2025-26 campaign, finishing sixth in the Liga MX U21 Apertura with a 7-5-5 record before placing second in the Clausura with a 7-0-6 record. Midfielder Jan Carmona was one of the team’s standout performers, tallying 13 goals in 32 appearances over the course of the season. Carmona is part of the FC Juárez U21 squad led in scoring by forwards Víctor Murillo and Diego Monroy, who each recorded five goals during the 2025-26 campaign. FC Juárez U21 most recently faced Guadalajara U21, with the match ending in a 0-0 draw.

The 2026 Ultimate Frisbee Association (UFA) Championship Weekend presented by Pabst Light will be held at Breese Stevens Field in Madison, WI on August 27-28. The “Capital City of Ultimate” will host the sport’s biggest event for the second consecutive season and fifth time overall. Each division champion out of the East, South, Central, and West will again advance to the “final four” event at the historic venue in the heart of downtown Madison in late summer, competing in two semifinals on Thursday and the title game on Friday night.

Less than three months ago, Breese Stevens Field welcomed more than 4,000 fans and hundreds of thousands watching live to see the Boston Glory capture their first UFA championship, led by 2025 MVP and rising superstar Tobe Decraene. The weekend also featured fan parties at nearby venues, ultimate frisbee youth clinics, and the inaugural Western Ultimate League vs. Premier Ultimate League All-Star Game–setting an attendance record for professional women’s ultimate frisbee.
“The 2025 event was the best in league history,” said UFA CEO & Commissioner Tim DeByl. “The play on the field was the strongest competition ever, but off the field, we felt this incredible energy from the fans throughout the weekend. Pabst Light brings the fun, Breese is a special neighborhood stadium experience, and the UFA showcases the best frisbee in the world. It’s the ultimate party!"
The Dallas Legion won the league title in 2016, the first time Madison hosted the event. The hometown Madison Radicals won the championship two years later and the New York Empire captured their first of two consecutive trophies in 2022. The Glory will look to repeat their unbelievable season as the last two league MVPs—Jeff Babbitt (2024) and Decraene (2025)—set their sights again on legendary Breese Stevens Field, which will also be celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2026.

VIP speciality sections, featuring unlimited beer and pizza, are also on sale at $80 for a single day or $150 for the weekend. Special pricing is also available for students and youth (ages 4-12), with all kids ages three and under receiving free admission for all games. Opening pull for the first semifinal game on Thursday, August 27 will be 6:00 PM/ET, with the second game immediately following at 8:00 PM/ET. The centennial celebration at Breese Stevens Field continues into the fall months as Seltzer & Cider Fest returns on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Now in its sixth year at its forever home, Historic Breese Stevens Field, the festival runs from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. CST — with early entry beginning at 3:00 p.m.
Presented by Surfside and Blake’s, Seltzer & Cider Fest is a ticketed event designed to celebrate and explore the barrage of local and national hard seltzer, cider, tea, canned cocktail and mocktail, kombucha, and other non-malt-based beverages that have become a mainstay in local grocers' coolers in recent years. In 2026, Seltzer & Cider Fest makes its first move into the cooler autumn months and features live music from Dana Perry, Hunter Davies, and the Tapestry String Band, along with Fall-in-Wisconsin themed games and competitions throughout the event.
"Seltzer & Cider Fest began as a smaller collection of seltzers and ciders and has evolved to include an increasingly wide range of other beer and wine alternatives, including kombuchas, non-carbonated options, and RTD cocktails and mocktails," said Tristan Straub, General Manager of Breese Stevens Field. Curd Fest
The original, and everyone’s favorite, annual celebration of Wisconsin’s most famous snack returns to Historic Breese Stevens Field. 13 years in the making and still chugging along, Curd Fest presented by Heins Contracting will return on Saturday, August 15th, 2026. This delicious, savory, crunchy, and gooey curd celebration is fun for the entire family!
Curd Fest is free for all from 3 PM - 6 PM (CST) on August 15th, 2026 and features some of the traditional curds we’ve all grown to love alongside varieties and flavor combinations from beyond your wildest imagination. Come enjoy a wide variety of dishes celebrating the almighty Cheese Curd, along with inflatables, entertainers, contests and more! Think you’ve tried them all? We shall see in August.

Dane County Farmers' Market at Breese Stevens Field
Join us for a special market filled with Wisconsin goodness at Breese Stevens Field.
From 7 a.m. to 12 p.m., you can enjoy a delicious array of vegetables, cheese, meat, flowers, baked goods, fruit, and other great products - all grown and raised in Wisconsin by the person behind the stand.

In addition to regular agricultural market vendors, you can also purchase a copy of The Dane County Farmers’ Market Cookbook: Local Foods, Global Flavors at the green tent Information Booth. This cookbook made its debut exactly two years ago, if you haven’t been able to pick up a copy, now’s a great time to do so – with so much produce available at the market, recipes will help spark your cooking creativity! We’ll also have canvas tote bags featuring Wisconsin produce available for purchase.
Breese Stevens Field will be operating their concessions stands, so you can even enjoy a beer, wine, seltzer, coffee, tea, and other n/a beverages while you shop.
Customers can bike, bus, walk or drive to Breese Stevens Field. Customer parking can be found at many neighboring garages. The streets immediately surrounding Breese Stevens Field will be reserved for market vendors only. Pets are not permitted. Service animals are allowed.

Blankets ARE allowed and encouraged.
Chairs ARE NOT allowed to be brought into the facility.
Factory sealed or empty water bottles up to 32oz ARE allowed.
We will have a barricaded area adjacent to the “Reserved Table” section on the pitch, dedicated to those with mobility concerns and their companions.
Outside food and beverages ARE NOT allowed.
All guests must pass through security checkpoint prior to entry. This will include metal detection wands and bag checks. Please, have all metal removed from bags and pockets prior to arrival to ensure quick entry for all.
