Each pod can accommodate up to four guests. Breese Stevens Field normally hosts up to 10,000 fans for concerts; however, current plans for the series have a capacity of 1,512 in the stadium with pods divided among the field and stands. Steve Miller Band will perform at Breese Stevens Field on Friday, July 1, with special guests Charlie Musselwhite and Leo Sidran. Miller is Milwaukee-born and attended UW-Madison in the early 1960s. His band will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on April 8.

And Chicago rockers Wilco will return to Madison for a concert at Breese Stevens on Friday, Aug. 19, with special guests Kurt Vile & the Violators. Wilco’s last visit was a sold-out Overture Hall show in October 2011.

For both dates, general admission tickets are $45 and gold circle general admission tickets are $75. They go on sale on Friday, March 25 — Steve Miller Band at 10 a.m. and Wilco at 11 a.m.

The Avett Brothers will perform at historic Breese Stevens Field on Oct. 2, organizers announced at a press conference there this morning.

The North Carolina-based folk-rock band last played Madison in February 2013, at a sold-out show at the Orpheum Theater. They will be joined at Breese Stevens by special guest Brett Dennen and an additional act to be announced later.

The concert is presented by Frank Productions, True Endeavors, 105.5 Triple M and Majestic Live.

General admission tickets are $45 and gold circle general admission tickets are $59.50. Tickets go on sale June 5 at 10 a.m. and will be available online at ticketmaster.com, by phone at 1-800-745-3000 or in person at the box offices of the Alliant Energy Center and Majestic Theatre.

Breese Stevens opened in 1926 and was recognized as a national landmark in 2014. It has undergone major renovations recently, including the replacement of the original grass field with artificial turf.
