Breese Stevens Field will host The Bodega, a free outdoor market, on five Thursday nights this summer on the field at the historic downtown venue nine blocks from the State Capitol.

The Bodega will feature farmers, artisans, antique dealers, and craftsmen selling locally sourced goods and produce. Far from an average famers market, The Bodega will also feature food carts, live music, and kid’s games to ensure a family-friendly event for all. A vinyl record swap is scheduled and attendees are encouraged to bring their own vinyl to participate. A wide variety of local beers, and wine will also be available for purchase. The kid’s area will feature a 60’ long inflatable zip line for the enjoyment of kids of all ages.

The market will take place once a month on the following Thursdays: May 19, June 23, July 21, August 11, and September 29. It will run from 4:00-8:00 PM and admission is free for the public.

A wide variety of vendors are currently scheduled to appear at The Bodega including Salvatore’s Pizza, Underground Meats, the Underground Butcher Food Truck, Hermsdorf Farms, an antique bike dealer with more listed below. Breese Stevens Field is now accepting applications for vendors. To become a vendor, visit to fill out the online application. Vendor fees are a reasonable $15 per space or $100 for a food cart.
